With Claudia Busch.

This project was designed (unbuilt) as house for a collector of 20C design, his wife and two young daughters. The house was organized around two bars, one running along the southern side of the site and housing the bedrooms, and the other raised to offer views from the kitchen, dining room and living room. The two bars were hinged together through a main stairway that not only connected above and below, but moved with the tides to provide the family with an intimate awareness of their environment.

Project sited on North Bay Road, Miami Beach.
